Notice of Availability of Institutional and Financial Aid Information This notice will be distributed to students each semester, it will be distributed to all enrolled students during registration and orientation.

As provided by the Higher Education Opportunity Act reauthorized in 2008, Valor Christian College students are entitled to access information related to the College, financial aid available at Valor, and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA). NC-SARA (National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements) National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements | Approved Institution | NEBHE, SREB, WICHE, MHEC - NC-SARA Valor Christian College has been approved by the state of Ohio to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.

Copyright Infringement Policies and Sanctions (Including Computer Use and File Sharing) Valor Christian College prohibits the use of its network to engage in copyright infringement. Copyright infringement includes the file sharing of copyrighted material without authorization, including the unauthorized downloading or sharing of copyrighted music. Students engaging in unauthorized file sharing can be referred to the Dean of Students for adjudication and potential discipline. Copyright infringement also carries potential civil and criminal legal penalties. In general, anyone found liable for civil copyright infringement may be ordered to pay either actual damages or “statutory” damages of not less than $750 and not more than $30,000 per work infringed. For “willful” infringement, a court may award up to $150,000 per work infringed and can assess costs and attorney's fees. Willful copyright infringement can also result in criminal penalties, including imprisonment of up to five years and fines up to $250,000 per offense.
