Defining Your Acceptance

Full Acceptance

When an applicant has submitted all of the required admission materials including high school documentation showing graduation or its equivalent, or a college transcript showing Associate degree or higher has been conferred the applicant’s file will be sent to the Admission Committee. Applicants whose application file is approved by the Admission Committee are granted Full Acceptance.

Provisional Acceptance

Students who have submitted required admissions documents but may have an outstanding official transcript may be considered for provisional admission. Students with a provisional status may proceed with the registration process while they work on submitting final official documentation with these exceptions:

  1. Students will not be eligible for student financial aid until all official documentation has been submitted.
  2. Eligible scholarships will not be processed until the provisional status has been removed.
  3. Students must submit documentation within one term of gaining this admission status.
    • Campus students have until the end of their first semester.
    • Online students have until the end of their first eight-week session.
  4. Students who do not submit required official documentation will not be permitted to return until this status changes to a Regular Admissions Status
